Introducing The Project Studio, a boutique project management company based in Sydney. We offer exceptional service, knowledge and a value added approach. Working with both government and private clients to deliver high end, quality projects that span across a diverse range of industries. These include residential, commercial, industrial, aged care, retail, marine, heritage, health, education and civic sectors. As a project management company our project management services are extensive. Our services include but are not limited to preparation of business cases, project briefs, consultant scoping and engagement, stakeholder liaison, design management, contract administration, condition assessments, service upgrades and defect inspections.

We are known for our proficiency, execution, knowledge and our ability to get difficult projects across the line. Regardless of the size of a project we apply the same robust project management principles each and every time.

With a background in trade, building certifications and over 80 years’ combined experience in the industry, we go above and beyond to ensure all project requirements are not only met, but exceed our client’s expectations.

We might be a boutique project management company but that doesn’t mean we only want lavish projects.

We are known for our ability to handle difficult project management projects. As a specialist project management company we are equipped to handle both government and private projects. TPS maintains pre-qualification for consultants in construction for over $150,000 on government projects under scheme SCM1191. We have the ability to take on projects not only from conception, but at anytime over a projects lifespan in a time efficient and seamless manner ensuring we meet client requirements.

With over 38 years’ experience in the construction and building industry, a trade background and a Masters in Project Management, Shane has both the practical and theoretical proficiency to deliver value-added project management services.

Having worked extensively within local and state government, Shane has detailed knowledge of the procurement policies involving open and select tendering. Shane has worked on a wide variety of projects in the public domain. From street upgrades to community facilities, including working on significant state heritage structures.

As a client-side project manager, Shane has delivered numerous private sector residential and commercial projects. He has a friendly and proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and strong technical aptitude. As a result he is able to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, relevant stakeholders, authorities and staff to efficiently deliver projects from initial concept to project hand-over.

With over 33 years experience in the construction and building industry, Glenn has worked his way up the corporate ladder from Building Cadet through to senior management positions for some of the largest construction organisations in Australia, gaining valuable hands-on experience and knowledge along the way.

Glenn has worked on a diverse array of projects in areas such as residential, retail, industrial, government, aviation, marine and health. His experience spans roles including construction project management, client-side project management and contract administration. He also has considerable experience in dispute resolution and reporting and analysis, having worked on various building and construction matters throughout Australia.

Glenn’s easy-going yet professional demeanour enables him to form cohesive working teams to ensure the successful outcome of a project.

Integrated mgmt

When you work with The Project Studio you gain access to our certified Integrated Management System (IMS). It is a key aspect that enables proficiency, transparency and a unified approach. As a client you will be given direct access to a TPS director allowing you to discuss any concerns, give feedback and troubleshoot where needed. This also ensures you are kept up to date throughout the entire process.

Our Sydney based project management team utilise the IMS system to efficiently manage projects. This includes eliminating conflict, balancing objectives, promoting identification of risk management, providing a safe and healthy work environment and encouraging consideration of environmental impacts. To maintain our government pre-qualification and our IMS certification, our project managers are audited annually by SAI Global. They ensure our IMS is being managed efficiently, utilised by team members and continues to meet requirements of the following three international standards.
